This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and convey daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasts to facilitate liquidity management, capital planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Oversee daily cash positions across various entities and bank accounts, ensuring sufficient funding to support payroll, accounts payable, and ongoing business operations.
• Compile and distribute daily cash position, cash availability, and disbursement reports to Accounting leadership, FP&A, and executive stakeholders.
• Assist in treasury operations, including cash transfers, banking transactions, account funding activities, debt service operations, and the administration of bank accounts and related documentation.
• Conduct cash, bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations, promptly researching and resolving discrepancies.
• Examine variances between bank activity, subsidiary ledgers, and the general ledger; prepare journal entries and corrective measures as necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A, and Accounting teams to investigate transactions, resolve reconciliation issues, and support business operations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities by ensuring treasury-related deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Aid in interim and year-end external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit inquiries.
• Investigate accounting and treasury-related issues and provide assistance with technical accounting matters as necessary.
• Develop and uphold process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls related to treasury and cash management activities.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process enhancements to optimize treasury operations, reinforce internal controls, boost reporting efficiency, and utilize automation and AI-enabled solutions.
• Support special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analyses for management and executive leadership.
• Act as a trusted financial partner by delivering precise, timely, and actionable financial information to business leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is highly preferred. CPA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Over 4 years of progressive experience in treasury, accounting, or finance roles, with direct experience in cash forecasting, cash positioning, treasury operations, and reconciliations.
• Experience in public accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as Dynamics 365, NetSuite, AS400, or similar ERP platforms, with a strong preference for Dynamics 365 experience.
• Solid understanding of cash management, liquidity forecasting, treasury operations, and reconciliation processes.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated capability to investigate variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience in creating process documentation, SOPs, and operational controls in dynamic environments.
• Proven commitment to continuous improvement, process optimization, automation, and technology adoption.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships across Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and business teams.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting with limited guidance and evolving processes.
