Senior Transmission Line Engineer – Grid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design transmission lines within the voltage range of 69kV to 500kV.

• Perform cost analyses and establish design criteria.

• Choose conductors and conduct studies on shielding, grounding, and induction.

• Collaborate with vendors and clients to define component specifications.

• Guide less experienced team members and create proposals for new projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a program accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board or an ABET-accredited program in the United States.

• Expertise in using PLS-CADD software.

• More than 7 years of experience in transmission line design and project management.

• Strong understanding of design techniques and tools.

• Familiarity with design codes including NESC, IEC, CSA, IEEE, ANSI, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI 318.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
