
Senior Training Manager, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of Oncology Training for commercial field representatives.
• Collaborate closely with training peers and global trainers to co-create training programs.
• Maintain expertise in subject matter related to disease states, products, and therapeutic areas.
• Develop and implement training programs and initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Design and improve existing curriculum to align with the needs of the Commercial organization.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical, and Regulatory departments to ensure the accuracy of medical content and adherence to promotional policies for training materials.
• Manage vendors during the development of training content and oversee contract requirements.
• Execute project management functions throughout the creation of training content.
• Lead training meetings, including planning, logistics management, vendor supervision, and participant engagement.
• Partner with Marketing and Commercial Leadership to create training that aligns with brand objectives and coordinate the distribution of training materials for field colleagues.
• Influence and lead without formal authority by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, innovative, and relevant training solutions.
• Work with external partners to ensure best-in-class training deliverables.
• Collaborate with colleagues from partner companies to align training strategies and tactics.
• Build trust and credibility with Business Partners through regular interactions, as evidenced by feedback and successful working relationships.
• Serve as a resource for field sales by actively participating in all sales meetings and routine field visits.
• Design and lead the execution of training work sessions at National Sales and POA Meetings.
• Develop and maintain expertise in facilitation skills to support the delivery of training content.
• Continuously assess the organization’s training needs for both clinical fluency and development competencies and provide feedback for innovation.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is preferred.
• Experience in training, marketing, or sales within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Heme Oncology diseases, particularly in the Multiple Myeloma area, is preferred.
• Experience in developing training tools to enhance clinical acumen is a plus.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles, training design concepts, and various platforms is advantageous.
• Exceptional ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at various organizational levels.
