This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the planning, development, coordination, and execution of both instructor-led and web-based training programs that support VHA operational, clinical, and technology initiatives.
• Perform thorough training needs assessments, evaluations, and analyses to identify communication, knowledge, and skill deficiencies among end users and stakeholder groups.
• Convert identified training needs into effective workshops, training curricula, remedial learning modules, and educational solutions.
• Design, develop, update, and manage training materials such as workbooks, facilitator guides, participant manuals, job aids, presentations, and other instructional resources.
• Create and implement both standard and tailored training programs that align with organizational objectives, project requirements, and adult learning principles.
• Manage and support learning management systems (LMS), including course setup, enrollment management, learner tracking, reporting, and system maintenance activities.
• Create, maintain, and analyze training databases, records, metrics, and reports to ensure program performance and compliance with requirements.
• Conduct engaging face-to-face, virtual, and online training sessions for clinical, operational, technical, and leadership audiences.
• Offer coaching, mentoring, and guidance to trainers, end users, and stakeholders to facilitate knowledge transfer and the adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Lead training-related administrative tasks, including scheduling, communications, logistics coordination, documentation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, clinical staff, project teams, and leadership to ensure training content accurately reflects current workflows, policies, and best practices.
• Assist with test administration, user readiness initiatives, and organizational change efforts related to system implementations and enhancements.
• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback collection, performance metrics, and post-training analyses, recommending improvements as necessary.
• Participate actively in meetings, committees, working groups, and stakeholder engagements to provide training expertise and suggestions.
• Prepare and present demonstrations, briefings, and status updates to project teams, leadership, and client stakeholders.
• Act as the training lead for assigned initiatives, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality training products and services.
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in training support, instructional design, workforce development, learning management, or related training activities.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering instructor-led, virtual, and web-based training programs for adult learners.
• Experience in conducting training needs assessments, evaluating training effectiveness, and creating training materials and curricula.
• Familiarity with administering learning management systems (LMS), training databases, or similar training management tools.
