Senior Tooling Engineer – Tech GEO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend systems for the GEO technology team, taking ownership of the core module implementations.

• Create and sustain automation tools and data pipelines that facilitate large-scale data processing and analytics.

• Develop efficient data processing workflows and automation scripts utilizing Python, SQL, and related technologies.

• Integrate and enhance technical solutions for emerging markets, focusing on structured data, content quality detection, and localization adaptation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Growth, local operations, etc.) to ensure alignment on requirements and define the boundaries of technical solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, optimize performance, and assure system reliability.

• Continuously investigate and implement emerging technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and automation workflows to enhance system intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of backend development experience with strong server-side programming capabilities (Java, Python, or Golang).

• Proficient in SQL and database design; experience with large-scale data processing is highly desirable.

• Practical experience in Python scripting, with familiarity in data processing, API integration, and automation tool development.

• Strong coding practices and engineering discipline; capable of independently managing module development.

• Excellent cross-functional communication skills; able to effectively convert business requirements into technical implementations.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is advantageous.

• Experience with Large Language Models or automation workflows (Airflow, GitHub Actions) is a plus.

• Proficient in English communication; knowledge of Chinese is preferred.

• Experience in the fintech or blockchain sector is preferred.
