This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Assist in intelligence operations for global activities, including travel security, data center safety, executive protection, and market expansion projects.
• Observe and evaluate global occurrences such as armed conflicts, terrorism, political instability, sanctions, civil unrest, organized crime, regional escalations, and infrastructure interruptions, converting these developments into practical business risk evaluations.
• Create strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence outputs, including forecasts, executive summaries, travel risk assessments, crisis updates, heat maps, geospatial overlays, dashboards, and early warning notifications.
• Aid in the construction, integration, and upkeep of intelligence collection channels utilizing open-source intelligence, commercial intelligence feeds, geospatial data, proprietary resources, and third-party intelligence platforms.
• Consistently enhance intelligence workflows, alert systems, and analytical tools.
• Collaborate across various functions with Global Security, Legal, Supply Chain, Strategy, Infrastructure, and business teams to operationalize intelligence and facilitate risk-informed decision-making.
• Perform post-incident evaluations and lessons-learned assessments following geopolitical events, operational disruptions, or security incidents.
• Contribute to the establishment of best practices, technical standards, and scalable processes for geopolitical and operational threat intelligence.
• Support relations with external intelligence providers, industry colleagues, academic institutions, and government or law enforcement partners, as appropriate.
• Share expertise and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the team.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in threat intelligence, geopolitical risk assessment, physical security, or a related area.
• Solid understanding of the threat intelligence lifecycle: requirements development, collection, processing, analysis, production, dissemination, and feedback.
• Good familiarity with geopolitical risks, state instability, terrorism, organized crime, and regional dynamics.
• Experience in operationalizing intelligence to support security operations (travel, crisis management, executive protection, facility security).
• Outstanding communication skills: ability to brief, simplify complex situations into actionable recommendations, and produce polished reports.
• Proven experience using AI tools and large language models to expedite research, analysis, drafting, and workflow automation.
• Strong judgment, intellectual independence, and the capability to navigate ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
• Willingness to travel (regionally or internationally) when necessary to support field operations or site assessments.
