Principal Product Intelligence Analyst – Cortex XSIAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• In the role of Principal for Competitive Intelligence within the Cortex Product Management team, you will act as the crucial link between our product roadmap and the competitive environment.

• Utilizing Structured Analytic Techniques (SATs) to analyze technical competitive data, you will uncover the "Inconvenient Truths" that challenge our existing product assumptions.

• You will be tasked with ensuring that Cortex not only keeps pace with competitor features but also retains a structural architectural advantage that is substantiated by evidence and real-world experience.

• Your responsibilities will include converting comprehensive research findings into Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), prioritizing feature gaps based on competitive necessity, and presenting essential insights to senior leadership.

• You will extend beyond CRM data to perform in-depth "post-mortem analysis" on significant losses, providing actionable product insights to Engineering and PM leadership aimed at alleviating technical friction in the sales process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Competitive Intelligence, Product Management, or Sales Engineering in the Cybersecurity sector (including XDR, SIEM, or SOC automation).

• Expertise in Structured Analytic Techniques.

• Proven ability to distill complex technical data and intricate market signals into succinct, impactful "Bottom Line Up Front" (BLUF) briefings.

• Experience in leading "Red Team" sessions for product launches to assess potential competitor strategies against our new features.

• CI Certification such as CIP or an equivalent credential.
