Senior Test Engineer, Procedure Writer – Nuclear

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support in facilitating communications between Clients and Owners/Regulators.

• Coordinate issues among engineering and construction teams as needed to enhance project activities.

• Evaluate and provide recommendations on corrective actions related to engineering, construction, and commissioning deficiencies.

• Develop comprehensive startup plans essential for the functional testing of process systems.

• Assemble system turnover packages in accordance with project protocols, including the review of system testing documentation.

• Assess, create, and modify operations and maintenance procedures for nuclear projects.

• Examine proposed changes to procedures to ensure precision and determine their impact on existing protocols.

• Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and visit plant sites for construction coordination and field verification of designs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or relevant experience.

• A minimum of 20 years of related experience, including Nuclear Power Plant Construction, procedure documentation, Nuclear Power Plant Commissioning, and Initial Power Plant Operation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.

• Proven experience in building relationships with Clients.

• The candidate must have a strong understanding of current standards regarding procedure preparation and requirements.
