• Provide testing support within a cross-functional team supporting the Department of Veteran Affairs.
• Develop and implement test plans and test scripts for VA software solutions.
• Collaborate in an Agile framework with developers, end users, and organizations to formulate test plans and test scripts in a Test Driven Development (TDD) environment.
• Coordinate with testing sites and other team members to organize test events.
• Author and aid in the creation of test procedures.
• Set up the required hardware and operating environments as necessary to perform assigned testing tasks.
• Leverage technical expertise across IT products, operating systems, software, hardware, systems, networks, and specialized environments to facilitate test execution.
• Generate test reports that document results and findings.
• Monitor issues and report on errors encountered during testing.
• Ensure issues are resolved in accordance with established acceptance criteria.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 4 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Experience working within Agile development teams, collaborating with developers, end users, and organizational stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in writing or contributing to the development of test plans and test procedures.
• Proficiency in creating test plans and test scripts within a Test Driven Development (TDD) framework.
• Extensive technical knowledge across IT products, operating systems, software, hardware, systems, networks, and specialized environments.
• Experience in configuring hardware and operating environments to support test execution.
• Proven ability to create and present test reports.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with the capacity to track and resolve issues against defined acceptance criteria.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with test sites, team members, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expected 1099 rate range for this role is $60/Hr - $80/Hr.
• W2 Salary range for this role is $63,000 - $90,000.
