Senior Test Automation Engineer, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Review, analyze, and evaluate project requirements and specifications, along with product functionality, to transform them into quality control process artifacts.

• Prepare and secure test data.

• Develop, execute, refine, and optimize automation scripts.

• Log and assess results while documenting any deviations from expected outcomes.

• Utilize tools for automation scripts administration, monitoring, and management.

• Provide the setup for the automation test environment.

• Review test artifacts created by colleagues.

• Contribute to the definition and enhancement of automation process control.

• Research and implement new automation tools or methodologies.

• Create comprehensive test documentation.

• Engage in communication with the customer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing, including substantial hands-on experience with test automation.

• Proficient in API and end-to-end test automation, specifically using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for API/backend testing.

• Familiarity with setting up and managing mock servers and stubs for external service integrations.

• Capability to expand automation coverage from backend services to frontend applications.

• Strong understanding of test architecture, mocking strategies, and test data management.

• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proactive attitude with a commitment to test infrastructure ownership and ongoing quality improvement efforts.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.
