Senior Test Automation Engineer, Security Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and uphold test cases and testing scenarios.

• Carry out functional, integration, regression, system, and release testing.

• Develop and sustain automated testing suites.

• Validate REST APIs, messaging interfaces, and interoperability scenarios.

• Examine defects and assist in root cause analysis.

• Generate test plans, execution reports, and documentation for release verification.

• Facilitate CI/CD testing activities.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.

• Contribute to enhancements in software quality and best practices in testing.

• Assist in interoperability events and validation exercises.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• More than 3 years of experience in designing and executing manual test cases.

• At least 2 years of experience in test automation.

• Proficient in testing REST APIs, messaging systems, distributed systems, and integration interfaces.

• Familiarity with at least one automation framework such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, or Gauge.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools.

• Background in scripting or programming languages including Python, Java, Bash, or Ansible.

• Knowledge of Docker or virtualized environments.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities in both Windows and Linux environments.
