This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Advocates for Purina Products among Veterinarians: • Endorses Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets as the preferred choice for veterinarians. • Organizes educational seminars on pet nutrition and Purina offerings for veterinary clinics, focusing on both healthy and sick animals. • Maintains a high level of nutritional expertise to positively impact clinic sales. • Formulates business plans in collaboration with clinics and conducts business reviews. • Manages feedback and tracking of promotions to facilitate pre and post evaluations. • Executes a quality assurance assessment for clinics regarding product, pricing, and distribution. Performs Veterinary Clinic Coverage: • Provides veterinary clinic coverage in alignment with predetermined call frequency and coverage requirements. • Identifies and sells additional opportunities for Nestle Purina Canada by utilizing national and regional initiatives. • Inputs clinic information directly into the sales system database for review, verification, and analysis. Handles training and coaching: • Oversees the training of new Territory Managers for seamless onboarding and supports the ongoing development of current Territory Managers. • Assists less experienced Territory Managers in servicing clinics as necessary.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential, as this role involves collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market.
• A minimum of 4 years of direct sales or related business experience is required.
• Experience in sales within the veterinary or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory and be willing to travel as needed based on territory demands.
• Strong self-motivation and a proactive attitude, with the ability to think strategically to secure additional business opportunities.
• Competence in computer applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, evidenced by a proven ability to deliver effective presentations to diverse audiences.
• Base Salary Range: $91,000.00 CAD to $108,000.00 CAD
