This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Prospecting & Expansion: Identifying new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and various channels, along with addressing inbound inquiries. You will oversee the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.

• Hitting Sales Targets: Manage your sales pipeline and achieve ambitious growth targets by screening, qualifying, demonstrating the product, and effectively negotiating contracts with clients.

• Customer Account Management: After securing a sale, maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their continued satisfaction, provide assistance, and tackle any challenges they encounter with Halter’s products. You will also facilitate a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment, ensuring customers derive maximum value from Halter’s solutions.

• Territory Ownership: Take significant ownership of your territory while collaborating with regional agricultural groups to build strong relationships within the beef industry.

• Customer Onboarding: Play a key role in managing the end-to-end customer experience during the onboarding and implementation of Halter’s product, ensuring a smooth shift from sales to deployment.

• Field Learnings & Feedback: Act as the main contact for collecting customer feedback in your territory. Collaborate closely with Support, Product, and R&D teams to relay insights from the field that can enhance product improvements and innovations.

• Collaborating with Support Teams: Work alongside the Support Team to swiftly resolve any issues faced by your customers. You will escalate problems as necessary and ensure that customers in your territory feel thoroughly supported.


⛳️ Requirements

• Sales & Customer Success Expertise: Experience in value-based sales, with a proven track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and fostering enduring customer relationships. You comprehend the importance of post-sales value building and possess experience in upselling to expand partnerships.

• Beef Industry Experience: Familiarity with beef operations, understanding the specific challenges of the industry. If not experienced, you should have a strong passion for it and a willingness to delve into farm operations to learn quickly.

• Attitude: You inherently strive to elevate those around you. You excel under pressure and take ownership of your results. You bring genuine energy and enthusiasm to every interaction.

• Territory Management: Capable of utilizing critical thinking to manage a large territory with a balanced emphasis on sales and customer success, making appropriate trade-offs when necessary.

• Problem Solving & Collaboration: Resourceful and quick-witted, you collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and implement solutions.

• Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects is required.
