Senior Technology Partner Director – AI Code-Gen, Apps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Recruit, cultivate, manage, and expand Databricks’ global partner ecosystem.

• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with AI coding agents, application developers, and developer platforms.

• Develop in-depth product integrations, collaborative solutions, and go-to-market strategies that connect partners with Databricks Apps, Lakebase, and the wider Databricks platform.

• Formulate partnership strategies that encompass product integrations, joint solutions, go-to-market initiatives, and marketing campaigns.

• Oversee partnerships from the identification of opportunities and collaborative product planning to launch and scaling efforts.

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to introduce integrations to the market and enhance adoption.

• Facilitate enablement and readiness for both Databricks and partner teams.

• Advocate for key partners internally and influence product roadmaps and strategic direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in product partnerships, business development, or partner management.

• More than 3 years of experience in AI code generation, app-building, or developer tool ecosystems.

• Demonstrated success in launching strategic ISV integrations and collaborative go-to-market initiatives.

• Experience with leading developer platforms, AI code generation companies, or hyperscalers.

• Profound understanding and established network within the Developer Tool & Database ecosystem.

• Familiarity with Postgres, Developer Marketplaces, next-generation Platform-as-a-Service, AI coding, and CI/CD workflows.

• Capability to create joint value propositions for both technical and business decision-makers.

• Strong leadership skills across multiple functions.

• Experience in managing co-opetition dynamics and handling sensitive partner relationships.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
