This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Provide consulting services in FlexSim DES throughout customer engagements, managing workstreams from initial discovery to implementation with a high level of autonomy.
• Act as a senior technical contributor during consulting projects, advising on project strategies, model design, analysis, and communication with customers.
• Assist with escalations in technical support, serving as a subject matter expert for customers, external sales teams, and colleagues seeking assistance.
• Create, validate, and present simulation models to evaluate system performance, pinpoint bottlenecks, and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with customers and AOS stakeholders to convert business challenges into scalable and repeatable solutions.
• Participate in pre-sales efforts, including delivering technical demonstrations, designing solutions, and scoping consulting projects.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of both existing and emerging AOS technologies as our solutions evolve.
• Work collaboratively with AOS Product Management, Software Development, and Customer Success teams to ensure favorable customer outcomes.
• Contribute to the establishment of standardized methodologies, reusable assets, and best practices within AOS.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and presentations for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing and capability development within the Kraków hub and the broader EMEA region.
• Influence product teams by providing constructive feedback aimed at enhancing products and the overall customer experience.
• Operate independently with minimal guidance, showcasing strong ownership, accountability, and sound decision-making skills.
• Identify opportunities to enhance delivery efficiency, solution quality, and repeatability across various projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in Discrete Event Simulation, process improvement, or a related area.
• Extensive experience in building and analyzing simulation models (experience with FlexSim or similar tools is preferred).
• Proficient programming skills (e.g., C++, Python, or other object-oriented languages).
• Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, process flows, and/or facility operations.
• Strong analytical, abstract thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and honoring commitments.
• Demonstrated curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and domains.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
