Senior Technology Audit Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and/or conduct comprehensive technology audits and special projects—from risk evaluation and planning through fieldwork, testing, workpaper creation, issue identification, and reporting.

• Act as a hands-on contributor in audit execution and internal control testing, while mentoring and advising junior auditors as necessary.

• Utilize data analytics, AI, and agile methodologies to enhance audit efficiency, coverage, and the quality of insights.

• Engage in the annual risk assessment to help shape the audit plan, concentrating on critical technology, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI risks.

• Cultivate robust relationships with business, technology, and risk leaders to function as a trusted advisor.

• Ensure that audit activities adhere to IIA Standards and departmental quality standards.

• Keep abreast of emerging technology risks, cybersecurity threats, AI advancements, and audit best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in auditing cloud-native environments, including AWS/GCP, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and cybersecurity areas such as vulnerability management, identity and access management (IAM), incident response, and network security.

• Proven experience in assessing AI governance, risks, and controls across generative AI, AI-enabled processes, and agentic systems, in addition to general IT controls.

• Demonstrated capability to independently carry out end-to-end audits, encompassing planning, testing, workpaper documentation, issue identification, and reporting.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the skill to present findings to senior leadership effectively.

• Proven track record of working in a hands-on manner in a lean environment while coaching and reviewing the work of others.
