• Lead the content strategy, Information Architecture (IA) design, and ongoing maintenance for the developer documentation site.
• Spearhead a "Clean Sweep" initiative aimed at revamping the information architecture for both human and AI developers, transitioning content to a new Docusaurus-based framework (other platforms may be considered if preferred).
• Execute an "AI-First Design" strategy, utilizing llm.txt standards and structured solution summaries to ensure content is comprehensible to LLMs and minimizes hallucination in AI-generated code.
• Generate top-quality documentation (API & SDK docs, feature guides, release notes) that is intent-focused, rewriting tutorials to include the "Why" and "Use Case" descriptions alongside technical steps.
• Collaborate with the REST API engineering team on documentation refinement, migrating high-priority endpoints to OpenAPI 3.0 specifications, and providing comprehensive usage explanations.
• Develop and maintain precise code samples, including embedding interactive and editable code examples and the Compose SDK playground directly within the documentation.
• Conduct final "Human-AI" clarity audits on all tutorials prior to launch.
• Work closely with R&D and Product teams to guarantee the quality and accuracy of all content.
• Respond to feedback from both internal and external stakeholders to continually enhance the documentation.
• Native English speaker or equivalent proficiency.
• Over 4 years of experience in creating complex technical documentation tailored for a developer or engineering audience.
• Proven history of project ownership, effective project management, and self-direction, with established experience in defining Information Architecture.
• Extensive experience with SDK or API documentation for an engineering audience, including knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI, and familiarity with JavaScript front-end frameworks or TypeScript as essential.
• Practical experience with coding and software development tools such as IDEs (Visual Studio, WebStorm, etc.) and Source Control (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
• Ability to comprehend code samples and enhance their documentation, both inline and externally.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• "Self-starter" attitude with a proactive approach.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, English, or equivalent professional experience.
