Senior Technical Writer – Developer Audience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Stay aligned with product development teams by utilizing style guidelines to create top-tier API and programming content that is logical and tells a cohesive story.

• Work in close partnership with product engineering, product management, integration teams, and other internal stakeholders to develop user-focused API documentation and programming guides.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in English, technical communications, computer science, or a related field).

• Over 3 years of experience as a technical writer targeting a developer audience within an Agile software organization.

• Demonstrated experience in crafting detailed, user-centered API and programming documentation in a dynamic environment.

• Outstanding ability to comprehend and convey the interconnections between topics, organizing information hierarchically in a logical, meaningful, and consistent way.

• A user-centric viewpoint supported by experience and technical precision.

• Proficiency in Markdown or another markup language such as HTML, along with Swagger.

• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python, Typescript) and OpenAPI.

• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple focus areas and tasks while ensuring a high volume and quality of output.

• Dedication to adhering to established standards and styles.

• Passion for cross-functional collaboration with individuals at all levels of the organization.

• Availability to work in US time zones (preferably Central Standard Time).
