Technical Writer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical documentation projects from initial design through to release readiness.

• Utilize cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders to identify business requirements.

• Collaborate with the Product team to collect necessary requirements.

• Partner with Engineering, Product, UX Design, Quality Assurance, Customer Success, and others.

• Organize and lead the content review process.

• Review and refine technical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Act as a subject matter expert in technical writing principles.

• Employ Git for source code management.

• Engage in team initiatives such as developing style guides and content strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, Writing, English, or a related field -- or -- equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of three years of experience in technical writing.

• Proficiency with Linux systems and command-line interfaces.

• Familiarity with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of application delivery networking and associated concepts.

• Understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, REST, and JSON.

• Experience with cloud technologies, both public and private, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware vSphere.
