Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create, write, and manage technical documentation, such as user manuals, guides, FAQs, and API documentation.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to collect and comprehend technical information.

• Convert intricate technical ideas into easily understandable documentation for diverse audiences.

• Revise, standardize, and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with style guidelines.

• Organize and structure documentation for optimal usability and accessibility.

• Employ a variety of tools and platforms to produce and oversee documentation (Content Management Software like Madcap Flare or equivalent software).

• Carry out user research and collect feedback to continually enhance the quality of documentation.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is updated in accordance with product launches.

• Manage a documentation repository and ensure proper version control.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience required.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong writing and grammatical skills.

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Competence in presenting complex data in clear, concise text.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously.

• Capability to edit and proofread the work of peers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

• Basic knowledge of programming languages or software development processes is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AI and other tools to aid in content creation.

• Self-motivated attitude.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
