
Senior Technical Specialist – Public Assistance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and project team members to guarantee the effective execution of tasks.
• Deliver extensive disaster recovery and grant monitoring services to sub-recipients, potentially overseeing disaster recovery personnel and aiding with project management activities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field, Disaster Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Over 8 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years focused on disaster recovery and grant monitoring at both federal and state levels, particularly within the FEMA public assistance program.
• A minimum of 5 years in managing large-scale construction programs.
• At least 5 years of practical knowledge of RS Means, Xactimate, FEMA Cost Estimate, or relevant web-based cost estimation software.
• More than 5 years of experience with federal grant provisions related to procurement, labor compliance, environmental issues, and similar areas.
• Over 5 years of experience with FEMA Public Assistance programs, including Hazard Mitigation 404, 406, and Alternate and Improved Project requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel (via flight and vehicle) on short notice as required for project tasks.
• A valid driver’s license is required, along with the successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
