Senior Technical Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Spearheading Linode initiatives in Beijing, China as a public cloud presales engineer, providing support across the APJ region and leading technical sales efforts.

• Fostering customer success and promoting Linode adoption within the account team; experience in cloud service delivery is advantageous.

• Driving solution innovation, advocating for local technology trends, and influencing the product roadmap in collaboration with global managers.

• Establishing technical thought leadership in Cloud Computing/Linode to propel Akamai's business expansion.

• Leading Pre-Sales SME enablement teams focused on Linode and the public cloud technology stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with expertise in public cloud, consulting, hosting, or cloud software.

• Exhibit substantial experience in designing complex IaaS solutions for clients.

• Hold one or more professional-level certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.

• Show advanced skills & certifications in at least three of the following areas: Kubernetes, cloud computing, AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle, AI & GPU, IaC/CI/CD, and/or CNCF.

• Demonstrate knowledge and practical experience with open-source technologies, including but not limited to: Apache Web Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform, etc.

• Possess strong expertise in GPU-based infrastructure, including GPU workload optimization, distributed inference, and scaling strategies, which is ideal.

• Exhibit excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin, including the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
