This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead and oversee complex, high-stakes projects from inception to completion.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle, partnering with external resources to align customer requirements with organizational goals and ensuring successful execution.
• Create detailed IT project plans that encompass task breakdowns, milestones, timelines, and resource distributions.
• Proactively modify project plans to accommodate changes and manage risks, guaranteeing the timely achievement of project milestones.
• Establish and manage project expectations with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Serve as the main point of contact for project updates and take initiative to resolve any issues or concerns.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Fortress products, remaining informed about the latest features, functionalities, and best practices for client engagement.
• Utilize your expertise to advise clients and offer insights on how Fortress solutions can effectively meet their requirements.
• Act as an escalation point for intricate project and technical challenges, directly contributing to problem-solving and resolution when necessary.
• Foster strong client relationships by representing Fortress in a consultative, solutions-driven manner during project execution.
• Collaborate with clients to align technical solutions with business requirements, offering guidance on implementation strategies and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to enhance delivery outcomes, including process improvements, solution adjustments, and stakeholder alignment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 5–8 years of experience in technical project management or technical delivery roles, with a demonstrated history of leading complex projects from planning through execution.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and practical experience with agile project management tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong time management abilities, with a proven capacity to handle multiple competing priorities while maintaining focus on high-impact objectives.
• Proven aptitude for creatively and analytically solving problems, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with technical challenges directly and contribute to problem-solving beyond project coordination responsibilities.
• Capability to independently utilize and refine AI-driven prompts to enhance the quality, efficiency, and insight of regular work processes.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• This position requires regular travel (up to 25-50% of the time).
