Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborates across functions with Product and Engineering teams to define specifications and maintain ongoing communication regarding project status and requirements.

• Experience in utilizing Confluence and Jira for effective project management.

• Guarantees that all project management reports are precise and updated promptly.

• Provides management with insights into project progress, facilitating informed decision-making, approvals, and strategic direction.

• Organizes and leads periodic project reviews with key stakeholders to update on progress, outline plans for key milestones, manage critical decisions, and mitigate risks.

• Demonstrates expertise in developing project plans while managing individual deadlines and objectives.

• Possesses domain knowledge and identifies experts to ask pertinent questions, prioritize tasks, and follow up effectively to address issues.

• Utilizes previous experiences to pinpoint potential areas for improvement in project performance and shares best practices in project management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required; a background in Engineering is advantageous.

• Proficient in English and has experience working closely with Executives.

• At least 5 years of engineering project management experience; 3 or more years in Agile project management.

• Strong experience with Agile methodologies, including 1-week sprints and Program Increment planning.

• Proven ability to establish structure in ambiguous situations and effectively engage with individuals at all organizational levels.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with global product teams and engineers.

• Capable of comprehending complex technical concepts and conveying them to non-technical stakeholders.

• Skilled in influencing change beyond your immediate control and building stakeholder support.

• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to achieve results through formal channels and informal networking within a matrix project organization.

• Strong and clear verbal presentation and writing abilities.

• A self-motivated individual who is energetic, enthusiastic, adaptable, and a customer-focused team player.

• Ability to collaborate with diverse cross-functional groups, including both business and technical teams.
