This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee customer-facing technical projects from inception to successful completion.
• Create detailed project plans that encompass scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resources, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive project schedules that cover customer responsibilities and internal workstreams.
• Track project progress and proactively identify potential schedule impacts, resource limitations, and execution risks.
• Manage several concurrent customer projects with competing priorities.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Product, Engineering, Technical Implementation, Customer Success, Professional Services, Training, Support, Sales, and other departments.
• Conduct kickoff meetings, planning sessions, milestone reviews, regular status meetings, and project closeouts.
• Hold project teams accountable for their deliverables and deadlines, remove barriers, facilitate decision-making, and escalate issues as needed.
• Act as the primary project management liaison for designated customer engagements.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Present project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, and status updates to customers and executives.
• Drive customer accountability regarding decisions, approvals, testing, resource commitments, and milestones.
• Identify risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and resource limitations while developing mitigation strategies.
• Maintain RAID logs and action registers.
• Manage scope adjustments and escalate critical issues with recommendations and resolution options.
• Prepare weekly executive project status reports along with executive-ready dashboards and presentations.
• Maintain project documentation, monitor KPIs, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with governance.
• Enhance project delivery, governance, communications, templates, methodologies, and operational processes.
• Advocate for accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across customer delivery initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in managing complex, customer-facing technical projects within SaaS, enterprise software, or EdTech organizations.
• Proven success in leading multiple concurrent enterprise customer projects that involve cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Demonstrated ability to present project plans, executive status updates, implementation roadmaps, and delivery progress to customer executives and senior leadership.
• Experience with enterprise software deployments, SaaS implementation lifecycles, customer onboarding, technical integrations, identity management, LMS integrations, data migrations, and platform transitions.
• Experience in leading technical implementation projects without directly executing technical implementation tasks.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar platforms.
• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certification is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, facilitate decisions, and build consensus.
• Capability to manage competing priorities while maintaining professionalism.
