Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of products and projects from start to finish, acting as the client-facing leader responsible for scope, planning, and delivery results.

• Act as the strategic intermediary connecting clients, senior management, and engineering teams.

• Lead, guide, and mentor cross-functional development teams.

• Set delivery standards and cultivate an environment where obstacles are identified early.

• Develop, maintain, and oversee project plans, roadmaps, release schedules, and timelines as the scope evolves.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, oversee sprints and backlogs in Jira, and monitor key delivery metrics.

• Collect and refine requirements while drafting user stories.

• Review UX/UI designs in Figma to assess feasibility, edge cases, and user-flow consistency.

• Steer calls and technical discussions towards actionable outcomes, clearly defined responsibilities, and target dates.

• Conduct initial issue analysis, including triage, log examination, and reproduction, prior to escalation to engineering.

• Perform pre-QA functional validations.

• Collaborate with DevOps on project setup and environment management.

• Work alongside Validation Managers to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Partner with Legal and AI Governance teams as necessary.

• Actively work to remove blockers and dependencies.

• Maintain project documentation in Confluence.

• Provide evidence-based status reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software delivery teams, including a minimum of 3 years as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role with full delivery responsibility.

• Experience in Technical Project Management, Delivery/Dev Management, QA Leadership, Business Analysis, or Product Management with a strong management emphasis.

• Demonstrated capability to manage projects, products, or workstreams independently from start to finish.

• Extensive experience in leading, managing, and mentoring cross-disciplinary development teams.

• Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including facilitating ceremonies, managing sprints, and overseeing backlog management.

• Proficient in requirements management, including the gathering, documentation, and drafting of user stories and development tasks with well-defined acceptance criteria.

• Advanced skills in Jira, encompassing dashboards, boards, reporting, and administration tasks.

• High proficiency in Confluence for creating technical documentation.

• Exceptional English communication skills (Advanced/C1 level).

• Proactive, independent, and assertive leadership style; capable of managing stress and addressing problems constructively.

• Technical background in Engineering, QA, Architecture, or Systems (preferred).

• Experience with Computer System Validation or release-validation documentation (preferred).

• Knowledge of the life sciences, pharmaceutical, clinical research, or other regulated industries (preferred).

• Ability to quickly adapt to new platforms, tools, and technical domains (preferred).

• Availability to work during EST hours is required.
