This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical go-to-market strategy for one or more AI-Native Cloud products along with a market use case, vertical, or segment.

• Transform intricate technical capabilities into outcome-focused narratives that are based on demonstrable value.

• Create hands-on demonstrations, sample integrations, and code in Python/JavaScript.

• Generate technical blogs, demos, diagrams, livestreams, keynotes, and launch materials.

• Represent DigitalOcean at conferences, meetups, and customer gatherings.

• Collaborate with executives on external appearances, which include preparing decks and executing CFP-to-stage presentations.

• Coordinate product launches in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, and Sales teams.

• Provide Account Executives and Solutions Engineers with talk tracks, demo environments, and battlecards.

• Assess adoption, pipeline, deal velocity, and win rates.

• Keep an eye on AI benchmarks, model transitions, and agentic frameworks.

• Translate competitive insights into effective positioning and guide product and go-to-market strategies.

• Engage with AI builders through technical conversations, open-source projects, and developer-community initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in using a terminal and an Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

• Capable of developing a basic app integration, scripting against an API, and setting up a containerized environment.

• Experience in software development, either professionally or as a serious hobbyist, is essential.

• Utilizes AI on a daily basis to enhance work efficiency.

• Monitors weekly changes in the AI landscape, including model benchmarks and agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGen.

• Demonstrated ability to present complex technical products on stage and in high-profile content.

• Establishes credibility with engineers, customers, and executives.

• Proven track record of simplifying complex technical concepts into clear, specific, and verifiable narratives.

• Able to evaluate impact through metrics such as adoption, pipeline, deal velocity, and win rates.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing developer platforms, APIs, or technical products, or equivalent experience in software development or solutions engineering.
