This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Lead the vision and product strategy for the PDF Tools Core SDK offering.
• Conduct comprehensive qualitative, quantitative, and market research to uncover opportunities for new features and integrations.
• Drive the establishment of the Objectives & Key Results for your team.
• Convert product strategy into actionable roadmaps, epics, and user stories.
• Assume the role of product owner within your team.
• Collaborate with other Product Managers and teams within the document enablement sector.
• Engage with the broader Product Management guild to enhance and optimize PDF Tools & Smallpdf's overall product strategy, while implementing and scaling best practices in product development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with a minimum of two years of engineering experience.
• Over 3 years of hands-on product management experience, ideally with products aimed at developers (SDK or similar).
• Proven experience in building tools, infrastructure, or frameworks for developers.
• Strong ability to gather user requirements from diverse sources and create a compelling product vision.
• Capable of managing stakeholders across multiple teams and guiding parties with conflicting priorities toward a consensus.
• Experienced in leading product delivery from inception through to launch and ongoing maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills with both team members and stakeholders outside the team.
• Proficient in English; German language skills are a plus.
