Senior Technical Platform Consultant – f/m/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As a Technical Platform Consultant, you will empower our clients to develop essential web applications utilizing the Build.One platform.

• You will collaborate closely with senior management on customer projects to harness the full potential of the Build.One platform.

• Your role is crucial in ensuring customer success, helping to define new product requirements, and engaging with our teams in product management, software development, sales, and partnerships.

• You will comprehend our customers’ business cases and technical needs, enabling developers to create tailored solutions using the Build.One platform.

• You will provide guidance and counsel to our customers on utilizing Build.One, as well as on how to approach, set up, and plan software development projects.

• You will proactively generate ideas for addressing customer challenges and requirements by developing migration strategies, technical procedures, or product features.

• You will build rapport with customers, cultivating trust and ensuring a professional service and positive customer experience.

• You will serve as an advocate and expert on the capabilities and tools of the Build.One platform.

• As a specialist in our product and customer requirements, you will share your insights and knowledge with our product management, software development, sales, and partner teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess over 5 years of professional experience in the software industry and have gained experience in professional services or IT consulting.

• You hold a university degree in computer science or a comparable technical qualification with extensive knowledge.

• Concepts such as object orientation, inheritance, function calls, and SQL statements are familiar to you.

• Experience with B2B clients in the enterprise segment and within the SaaS/Cloud ecosystem is a plus.

• You are an exceptional communicator and listener, capable of conveying complex information to customers in a clear and concise manner.

• You can collaborate across multiple Build.One teams to manage escalations, remove obstacles, and ensure clients can adopt and fully utilize our platform.

• You are adept at setting up projects, developing milestone plans, and aligning with various stakeholders.

• You are fluent in German and possess excellent written and spoken skills in English.

• A strong orientation towards customer service defines your working style.

• You have a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, XML, JSON, REST APIs).

• You have experience in software development using a modern programming language (such as JavaScript/TypeScript).

• Experience with Progress OpenEdge and ABL is advantageous.

• You are accustomed to assisting users in implementing new software through a ticketing tool.

• You possess strong presentation and documentation skills, along with knowledge of technical web technologies and APIs.
