This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the primary integration liaison with client tax professionals.
• Facilitate sessions for business and user requirements, and develop integration design and solution documentation.
• Analyze and implement ORACLE integration solutions that meet clients’ tax requirements and compliance processes.
• Collaborate with Thomson Reuters teams to provide comprehensive Indirect Tax integration solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all Indirect Tax-related requirements.
• Clarify ONESOURCE Integration for ORACLE issues, challenges, and solutions to non-tax and technical personnel.
• Convert clients’ tax policies into ONESOURCE integration solutions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance products and solutions.
• Set up and configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for ORACLE.
• Manage personal tasks within a structured project management framework.
• Collaborate with Pre-sales teams on prospects and bid development.
• Work alongside functional and technical colleagues to deliver successful implementations.
• Technical experience in implementing ORACLE and/or add-on solutions with external tax engines.
• Over 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years with ORACLE ERP.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising from various installed add-ons.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving ORACLE system challenges.
• Background in process analysis, design, mapping, and re-engineering.
• Experience in process/software gap analysis and resolution.
• Ability to create and execute test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with the ORACLE application.
• Competence in Oracle programming.
• Understanding of APIs, Webservices (SOAP and REST), and XML.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Experience in configuring transaction taxes and related master data within ORACLE is highly desirable.
• Experience in integrating third-party enterprise tax products is considered a significant advantage.
• Financial work experience or a related degree is highly desirable.
• Ability to write or modify integration software and connect applications/modules according to specified requirements.
• Capability to develop and execute unit testing.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• ORACLE Certification is highly preferred.
