This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions.
• Provide production support and monitoring while adhering to scope, schedules, budgets, and quality objectives.
• Facilitate secure and scalable application onboarding to Secrets Management and PKI platforms within a hybrid-cloud framework.
• Engineer and maintain solutions based on HashiCorp Vault.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and assist application teams in integrating secrets, certificates, and authentication methods.
• Collect requirements and offer technical solutions in collaboration with IT, product, analytics, and business stakeholders.
• Oversee production schedules, deliver progress updates, and communicate technical issues to leadership.
• Document technical workflows and procedures, participating in technical reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Collaborate with architecture teams on solution design and implementation to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Mentor associate and intermediate technical engineers.
• Conduct technical analysis and provide insights for departmental decision-making.
• Stay updated on relevant technologies and industry best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing technical solutions with production support.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical problem-solving, solution implementation, and collaboration within teams/projects.
• A minimum of 5 years of understanding of computer science principles, operating systems, development languages, and scripting.
• Preferred experience with HashiCorp Vault.
• Preferred experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable architectures using Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab.
• Preferred experience with public cloud infrastructure from Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.
• Preferred experience in containerized environments, including Cloud Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and VMware Cloud Foundation is preferred.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is preferred.
• Understanding of security principles across the entire application stack.
• Scripting skills and experience with BASH, PowerShell, Ansible, and Python.
• Ability to read and interpret code and automation created by others.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible Automation Platform, and GitLab.
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, hypervisors, and networking.
• Understanding of authentication and PKI concepts, including Active Directory/LDAP, key/certificate management, and tokens.
• Capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and mentor junior technical engineers.
• No specific license or certification is required.
• Travel requirements range from 0% to 25%.
• Base salary range between $94,200.00 and $151,000.00 annually.
