Senior Technical Consultant – ServiceNow ITAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution and enhancement of ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions, encompassing Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.

• Configure and oversee asset lifecycle processes such as procurement, receiving, inventory management, allocation, transfer, and disposal.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect business requirements and convert them into scalable ITAM solutions.

• Design and implement integrations with external systems, including procurement tools, SCCM, Intune, JAMF, and discovery tools.

• Ensure precise management of asset data and alignment between the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset records.

• Configure and manage software normalization, reconciliation, and license compliance activities.

• Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, Script Includes, and integrations to facilitate ITAM use cases.

• Conduct data audits, health checks, and governance tasks to uphold high-quality asset data.

• Provide support for SAM Pro and HAM Pro implementation activities, including content library updates and license management processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset management processes, integrations, and platform customizations.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tasks.

• Provide support for IT Service Management (ITSM) and related ServiceNow modules as secondary responsibilities when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.

• Strong expertise in:

• - ITAM (mandatory)

• - HAM Pro / SAM Pro (preferred)

• - Asset lifecycle management (mandatory)

• - Integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, APIs) (mandatory)

• Solid understanding of CMDB and asset relationship mapping.

• Experience in integrating ServiceNow with enterprise asset and endpoint management tools.

• Familiarity with ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, and other ServiceNow modules.

• Proficient scripting skills using JavaScript and Glide APIs.

• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Integration Hub.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Preferred ServiceNow certifications include CSA, CAD, CIS-HAM, or CIS-SAM.
