Senior Technical Consultant – Modern Apps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead hands-on development for both greenfield and brownfield application projects.

• Write, review, debug, and enhance production-quality code across contemporary application frameworks.

• Address challenging technical issues with efficient and well-architected solutions.

• Mentor junior consultants through code reviews, technical coaching, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.

• Utilize a range of AI-assisted development tools and possess the ability to construct and judiciously employ AI agents.

• Integrate AI into broader SDLC tasks such as story creation, requirements refinement, and engineering documentation.

• Generate architectural documentation and high-level technical designs as required.

• Employ robust design patterns and identify anti-patterns in applications, APIs, and cloud-native systems.

• Assist delivery teams with quality assurance, security, testing, DevSecOps, and operational readiness practices.

• Contribute to technical deliverables, implementation strategies, and reusable engineering resources.

• Occasionally aid in pre-sales, scoping, and solutioning initiatives as part of smaller pursuits or as a pathway towards Principal responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound expertise in at least two of the following programming languages: Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python.

• Strong capability to design, write, debug, and review intricate application code.

• In-depth understanding of the complete software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Extensive experience with test-driven development, testing strategies, and crafting robust code.

• Solid working knowledge of architecture, design patterns, and anti-patterns.

• Experience in developing modern applications, APIs, and cloud-native services.

• Practical experience with security, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and production-readiness practices.

• High proficiency with AI development tools, particularly Claude Code; familiarity with Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Continue.dev, and similar tools is highly regarded.

• Ability to structure context, set expectations, validate outputs, and effectively utilize AI throughout coding and related SDLC activities.

• Strong mentoring abilities and the capacity to assist junior engineers in enhancing their skills through direct technical guidance.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.

• Capability to work independently and resolve complex technical challenges with minimal guidance.
