Senior Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assisting and enhancing the OneStream administrator role following go-live.

• Providing tailored solution-based support.

• Delivering expert consulting services to both partners and internal teams.

• Mentoring new colleagues, leading projects, and serving as a role model for fellow consultants.

• Diagnosing data discrepancies and evaluating consolidated data, customer issues, member formulas, and business rules.

• Creating reports, security models, custom dashboards, and custom event processes.

• Aiding in customer transitions.

• Collecting business requirements as needed for application support requests.

• Leading and motivating application-focused team members to leverage their knowledge of OneStream products and features to support the customer’s business.

• Reviewing and endorsing Knowledge Base documentation to cultivate best practices.

• Reporting product issues on behalf of the customer and/or partner through established processes.

• Assisting in the testing of software enhancements and new features.

• Supporting User Application Testing (UAT) for upcoming OneStream software releases and custom CSRC Solutions.

• Monitoring accomplished tasks, time spent, and completed milestones using prescribed tools.

• Communicating effectively throughout the lifecycle of an open case/issue with customers or partners.

• Aiding in the development and testing of content for training sessions, events, and conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of practical experience in OneStream consulting and implementation.

• Strong functional knowledge in Financial Close and Consolidations, including Application Control Manager (metadata management) and Reconciliation Manager (ARM) with Transaction Matching as part of OneStream Financial Close (OFC).

• A degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, CIS, or equivalent work experience.

• At least 24 months of experience in OneStream Consulting.

• Functional experience in Financial Close/Consolidation processes.

• Preferred: A Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), or other relevant professional designations or certifications (related to accounting/finance and information technology).

• Experience with VB.net or Visual Basic.

• Any background in object-oriented programming is a plus.

• OneStream Certified Associate.

• Familiarity with Corporate/Enterprise performance management (CPM/EPM) software products.
