Senior Technical Consultant, Cloud Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and automation initiatives related to public cloud platforms.

• Act as a technical escalation point, driving incidents and problems to resolution while utilizing support from manufacturers and team members as needed.

• Keep client stakeholders and project managers informed of project progress throughout the project lifecycle with comprehensive and detailed communication.

• Function as the subject matter expert during cross-functional client workshops and engagements.

• Create a diverse array of client assessment and design deliverables, including written documentation and accurate low-level diagrams.

• Continuously enhance technical skills through certifications, training, and attendance at conferences during personal time, reflecting business needs.

• Provide support and mentorship to junior team members through training sessions and on-the-job guidance.

• Represent AHEAD professionally to clients, partners, and colleagues.

• Monitor, maintain, and report travel and expense activities in accordance with AHEAD policies.

• Track, maintain, and report weekly hours in line with AHEAD policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience using Terraform to provision and manage resources in public cloud environments.

• In-depth knowledge of general network security, data center networking, and software-defined networking.

• A degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 7 years of consulting experience or equivalent background.

• Experience serving as a technical lead in small to medium-sized networking projects.

• Customer-focused with a strong results-driven approach.

• Exceptional time management and prioritization abilities.

• Strong professional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Must be self-reliant, motivated, a self-starter, and possess a positive working attitude.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team and partner environment, including mentoring and training other team members.

• Relevant expert-level industry certification (e.g., CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, AWS Network Specialty, etc.).
