Senior Network Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Designing, documenting, building, and maintaining solutions that promote efficient and streamlined processes.

• Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to establish significant points of presence worldwide.

• Creating large-scale connectivity solutions, which encompass carrier transport solutions, dark fiber, and DWDM.

• Working with cross-functional teams to establish standards and processes for deployments and ensuring documentation is updated accordingly.

• Formulating router configuration standards for intricate global networks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12 years of relevant experience in complex networking environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in building and deploying infrastructure and distributed systems capable of managing large-scale network traffic.

• Demonstrated technical and commercial understanding of Internet network topology and architecture, IP routing, as well as CDN/Compute/Security platforms.

• Proven technical and commercial expertise in dark fiber, DWDM systems, waves, Internet exchanges, and IP transit.

• Ability to assess telecommunications and datacenter offerings, including waves, cross connects, MMRs, dark fiber, space, and power.

• Highly organized self-starter comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
