Senior Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive technical solutions for customer implementations, encompassing API integrations, authentication workflows, and AI-enhanced content processes utilizing the Egnyte platform.

• Oversee the entire technical implementation process — from gathering requirements and designing solutions to delivery, testing, post-deployment adoption, and documentation.

• Act as the main technical contact for customer engineering and IT teams, engaging confidently at the architectural level across discussions regarding integration, security, and platform design.

• Create and execute custom integrations using Egnyte's public APIs, webhooks, and SDK, and assist customers in enhancing the platform through iPaaS connectors and automation workflows.

• Develop and implement AI-augmented workflows that leverage Egnyte's AI capabilities alongside third-party LLM services, enabling customers to derive value from their content through intelligent automation.

• Serve as a technical intermediary between customers and Egnyte's Engineering, Product, and Support teams — converting customer integration needs into actionable product insights and championing capability development.

• Participate in pre-sales activities including defining scopes, designing Proof of Concepts, and delivering technical demonstrations for integration and AI-oriented opportunities.

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects with conflicting deadlines while ensuring quality and maintaining clear communication with customers.

• Communicate in a professional and concise manner while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of relevant technical experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Integration Delivery.

• Previous experience in implementing or supporting enterprise SaaS applications from a technical perspective.

• Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with both technical (IT/engineering) and business stakeholders within the customer organization.

• Experience with pre-sales activities including scoping, POC design, and platform demonstrations.

• Strong software programming skills that encompass four or more of the following areas: Full stack development with hands-on experience building enterprise integrations using REST APIs, leveraging event-driven architecture, and modern authentication protocols such as REST API design, OAuth 2.0, SAML/SSO, and SCIM 2.0 provisioning.

• Familiarity with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI), RAG patterns, and integration of AI workflows.

• Knowledge of iPaaS platforms (Power Automate, Workato, Zapier, Make).

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one).

• Proficiency in JSON/XML data modeling and webhook event-driven architecture.

• Programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, SQL, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with enterprise content, document management, or ECM platforms.

• Familiarity with software development toolchains including IDEs, source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and code review practices.
