This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The primary role of business analysts at Grant Street Group is to act as a bridge between our developers and clients, requiring adaptability to various responsibilities.
• Problem Solving: Every day, you engage in addressing intricate challenges. Whether analyzing a calculation, investigating a bug's root cause, or proposing a new process, you navigate uncharted territories to find solutions. Our clients and developers depend on your analytical skills to ensure effective software development and support.
• Client Support: When customers have inquiries, issues, or suggestions, they turn to you! Recognized as a subject matter expert, our clients frequently rely on your knowledge. Regardless of the issue's scale, you understand that Grant Street Group embraces the concept of Software as a Service wholeheartedly.
• Prioritization: As our software evolves, there is a constant need to prioritize the timing and method of changes. Given your daily interactions with both the software and clients, you are ideally positioned to make these prioritization decisions. Business analysts continually evaluate: Does this feature need to be completed by a specific deadline? What is the impact of this bug? How can other clients benefit from this modification? We utilize a ticketing system to manage functionality requests and bug fixes, which you help prioritize for our developers.
• Technical Specifications: You are responsible for communicating necessary changes to the developers. What occurs when a button is clicked? What does the interface look like? How is data transferred to an external system? In this capacity, you directly influence the product and enhance our clients’ experiences.
• Testing: After a developer implements a change, you have the opportunity to test it in a beta environment to confirm its accuracy. Does the new functionality align with the specifications? Is everything else functioning as intended?
• Implementations: As a growing company, welcoming new clients is an exciting aspect of our progress! As a subject matter expert, you work with new clients to tailor the software to meet their specific needs. Consider yourself a consultant—what business processes must the client achieve? How can our software integrate with and enhance those processes?
• Training: Educating clients on how to effectively use our software is also an essential part of your responsibilities. Whether it's onboarding a new client or assisting an existing client with a new feature, you serve as a valuable resource, providing the necessary information and tools.
• Possess 5+ years of technical Business Analyst experience, ideally within a SaaS context.
• Demonstrated ability to become a subject matter expert, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and foster continuous improvement for our clients.
• Proficient at investigating root causes of issues and devising innovative solutions to enhance processes.
• Curious about the functionality of systems and skilled at conveying information with appropriate detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Enjoy collaborative teamwork, mentoring, and establishing long-term relationships.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines.
• Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Generous paid time off and flexible working arrangements.
• Opportunities for professional development and growth.
