Senior Technical Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Primary Responsibilities

• - Analyze source and destination systems to understand data models, business rules, and transformation flows between platforms.

• - Systematically document entity mappings, field mappings, transformation rules, and validation criteria required for integrations.

• - Actively participate in client calls (in English), gather requirements, identify ambiguities, and propose solutions.

• - Understand the existing integrations of the client's platform, including its business logic and technical aspects.

• - Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications that the development team can implement smoothly.

• - Proactively identify edge cases, data inconsistencies, and delivery risks before they become blockers.

• - Collaborate closely with developers and client stakeholders to ensure clarity from the outset and minimize rework.

• - Produce traceable documentation linking requirements, design, and validation.

• - Lead a team of 3 developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience

• - 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar roles in system integration projects, data migration, or platform transformation.

• - Proven experience documenting data mappings between systems with differing entity models.

• - Demonstrated track record of working with development teams, translating business requirements into executable technical specifications.

• - Experience participating in calls with English-speaking clients and working in distributed teams.

• Technical Skills

• - Knowledge of SQL for data analysis (Nice to have), validation of transformations, and identification of edge cases.

• - Familiarity with REST APIs and/or middleware integrations.

• - Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation of APIs, database schemas, and integration flows.

• - Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Linear, or similar).

• - Desirable: experience with accounting, ERP, CRM, or property management platforms.

• Soft Skills

• - Fluent English (C1 level or higher), both oral and written. This will be assessed during the selection process.

• - Proactive and autonomous profile: able to identify problems and propose solutions without waiting for explicit instructions.

• - Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in documenting transformation rules and data mappings.

• - Clear and structured communication, both in written documentation and discussions with technical and business stakeholders.

• - Ability to operate in environments where requirements are incomplete, data structures are complex, and delivery risks depend on the accuracy of the analysis.
