Senior Technical Accountant, US GAAP, Audit Readiness

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the evaluation and continuous management of Right-of-Use (ROU) assets as well as lease liabilities.

• Supervise PPE accounting and maintain the fixed asset register.

• Analyze intricate transactions and conduct contract assessments.

• Collaborate with leadership to enhance accrual methodologies and implement cut-off procedures.

• Compile comprehensive audit schedules while ensuring full compliance with US GAAP standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Auditor, or Assistant Controller.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Required familiarity with QuickBooks Online.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA or CIA certification is strongly preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data.
