Senior Tech Manager – Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee cross-functional teams in a global setting, fostering collaboration, alignment, and effective communication.

• Lead and manage nearshore software development initiatives, guaranteeing high-quality outcomes.

• Utilize technical proficiency in Java and Spring to steer development efforts and assist in overcoming complex technical issues.

• Promote the adoption and integration of AI platforms and tools to enhance efficiency, innovation, and quality throughout the development process.

• Implement Specification-Driven Development (SDD) methodologies to enhance project results and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to establish scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Ensure adherence to development best practices, coding standards, and security measures.

• Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members, encouraging continuous learning, autonomy, and technical excellence.

• Engage in delivery governance, aiding in prioritization, status monitoring, risk management, and technical decision-making.

• Contribute to the advancement of engineering practices, agile collaboration, and ongoing team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Advanced/Fluent English (C2), capable of effective communication in an international context.

• Experience as a Technical Senior Manager or in a comparable leadership position within software development.

• Strong technical foundation in systems development.

• Practical experience with Java and the Spring framework.

• Background in handling complex international projects and nearshore delivery frameworks.

• Hands-on knowledge of AI platforms to expedite development workflows.

• Familiarity with Specification-Driven Development (SDD).

• Experience in agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to thrive in dynamic settings.
