Senior Tech Lead de Soluciones – Inglés Requerido

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients, transforming findings into requirements, architectural decisions, and documentation.

• Analyze RFPs, user stories, and requirements to identify gaps, inconsistencies, dependencies, and assumptions.

• Clarify scope with stakeholders and document agreements and exclusions.

• Define technical scope, architecture, team composition, and effort and infrastructure estimates.

• Draft technical proposals and supporting documentation, including environments, deployment, app store publishing, testing, and acceptance criteria.

• Assess existing code, platforms, and architectures to recommend modernization, migration, or evolution.

• Build or validate demos and proof of concepts, managing multiple initiatives concurrently.

• Transfer context and technical decisions to the implementation team.

• Resolve queries, provide support during incidents, and review architectural decisions throughout the project.

• Suggest practices, guidelines, and standards to enhance Engineering work.

• Collaborate with another senior Tech Lead and report directly to the VP of Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of software development experience and at least 2 years leading teams or quoting projects in consulting or software factories.

• Advanced experience applying generative AI in real-world solutions: RAG, agents, MCP, evaluation, and guardrails.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Next.js and NestJS, and/or Python with FastAPI.

• Advanced handling of Claude Code and Lovable.

• Senior-level experience designing solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including serverless services, containers, data, and AI services.

• Intermediate to advanced experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or equivalent tools.

• Expertise in designing and modeling relational and NoSQL databases, migrations, and schema versioning.

• Proficiency in designing REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures, including queues, orchestration, and asynchronous processing.

• Ability to document architecture using C4 diagrams or equivalents, ADRs, and technical specifications.

• Knowledge of cloud security and identity: least privilege, SSO/OIDC, encryption, key management, and protection of exposed applications.

• Experience with CI/CD, static quality analysis, container deployment, and diagnosing production incidents.

• Experience in project estimation, team sizing, and technically leading individuals from various disciplines.

• Ability to engage with clients, explain decisions to technical and business audiences, and draft clear, substantiated proposals.

• Advanced English for technical and business conversations.

• Current solution architecture certification, at Associate, Professional, or equivalent level, in a major cloud platform.

• Experience with classical machine learning, MLOps, or managed ML platforms is a plus; two or more years in technical pre-sales or as a Solutions Architect; mobile development; and integrations with payment gateways, KYC, enterprise messaging APIs, or productivity suites will be valued.
