Senior Tech AI/ML Product Manager – Job Hunt Engine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Establish the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML product features (JobHunt Engine).

• Assume complete ownership of the product lifecycle from hypothesis formulation to achieving scaled impact, with an emphasis on business outcomes rather than solely model performance.

• Convert business challenges into ML hypotheses and actionable solutions.

• Collaborate closely with ML engineers and data scientists to outline data needs, evaluation frameworks (evals, RAG, agents), model monitoring, and delivery processes.

• Design and implement swift, pragmatic validation cycles.

• Develop clear hypotheses (Problem → Mechanism → Impact → Metric) and select appropriate validation methods (A/B testing, shadow modeling, phased rollout).

• Utilize critical thinking to break down complex and ambiguous problems.

• Work in close partnership with Engineering, Data Science, and business teams.

• Articulate complex ML concepts effectively and ensure alignment among stakeholders regarding goals, trade-offs, and progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of ML/LLM fundamentals (NLP, recommendation systems, etc.).

• Practical experience in developing and scaling AI-powered features (matching, ranking, personalization).

• Familiarity with contemporary AI/ML concepts: evaluation frameworks, RAG, agents, model monitoring.

• Capability to define data pipelines, metrics, and workflows in collaboration with ML engineering teams.

• Preferred: hands-on experience in a Data Science, Data Analyst, or ML Engineer position.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally within a data-heavy or ML-driven field (HRTech experience is highly advantageous).

• Demonstrated ability to formulate and rigorously test product/ML hypotheses utilizing statistical methods (A/B testing, significance, confidence intervals).

• Proficient in reasoning about probability, causality, and data limitations to make informed choices.

• Entrepreneurial & Hands-on: A "Let's build it" mindset. Capable of creating rapid prototypes and testing ideas without excessive complexity. Comfortable with "building with sticks and glue" to facilitate quick learning.

• Outcome-Oriented: Focused on business results beyond just the AI model. Pragmatic and willing to simplify or eliminate features that do not create impact.

• Thrives in Ambiguity: Able to navigate uncertainty, conflicting model results, and noisy data. A structured thinker who can clarify complex situations.

• Fluent in English and Russian. Excellent communication skills with both technical (Engineers, Data Scientists) and non-technical stakeholders.
