Director, Product Management – Strategic Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish and direct a cohesive product management strategy that aligns with market trends, customer requirements, and our strategic objectives.

• Monitor the performance of the product portfolio across various businesses, ensuring that investments are aligned, legacy offerings are phased out, and opportunities for growth and innovation are identified.

• Encourage collaboration among product leaders from established brands, utilizing shared best practices and promoting synergies across offerings.

• Advocate for voice-of-customer initiatives to guide the development of new products, enhancements, and service offerings.

• Manage the entire product lifecycle—from conceptualization, requirements gathering, and business case development, to launch and end-of-life strategies.

• Lead and cultivate a high-performing team of product managers and analysts spread across different geographies and business units.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure the successful launch and scaling of new products.

• Establish key performance indicators and ensure that data-driven decision-making processes inform prioritization and product investment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related discipline (MBA or an advanced degree is preferred).

• Over 10 years of experience in industrial product management or manufacturing solutions, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.

• Strong knowledge of capital equipment, manufacturing systems, and industrial automation.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional product teams in a matrixed or multi-brand setting.

• Successful track record in developing and implementing product strategies that foster growth and enhance customer experience.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and servant-leader approach.
