This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic leadership and operational management for a specific team within the Conference Management department.
• Retain responsibility for a select portfolio of complex conferences, ensuring their successful execution.
• Supervise all elements of conference delivery, including logistics, schedules, budgets, vendor management, and onsite operations.
• Guide, mentor, and oversee a team of Conference Management professionals.
• Track conference progress within the team to guarantee timelines, deliverables, and expectations are fulfilled.
• Review conference materials to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the VP and Associate Director regarding team performance, potential risks, and support requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in managing the complete life-cycle of professional conferences or events, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience successfully leading a team and fostering staff development.
• Advanced proficiency with conference management platforms such as Cvent, ConfTool, or similar systems.
• Outstanding project management capabilities with the ability to oversee multiple simultaneous initiatives.
• Skilled at working independently while ensuring alignment with leadership priorities.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
• Remarkable attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality execution.
