This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Prepare intricate tax returns of various complexities for businesses (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065), individuals (Form 1040), and trusts (Form 1041).
• Generate tax projections and estimates as required.
• Conduct research on tax-related inquiries as necessary.
• Communicate with the IRS and other tax authorities regarding client concerns and audits.
• Collaborate efficiently with all firm staff members.
• Deliver prompt, high-quality service to clients.
• CPA and/or Enrolled Agent license (or in the process of acquiring one).
• Over 3 years of recent experience in tax and tax accounting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and Lacerte Tax software.
• Experience with fiduciary tax returns.
• Knowledge of individual international taxes.
