Senior Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Support ongoing tax strategy and coordination for client projects.

• Perform thorough and technical evaluations of intricate federal, state, and multi-state tax returns, focusing on flow-through entities.

• Collaborate with the team on client matters and ensure timely delivery of services.

• Investigate updates in tax legislation.

• Analyze complex tax issues, offer recommendations, and ensure adherence to regulations.

• Contribute to the development of the team's technical expertise.

• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to clients’ business office personnel.

• Work with closely-held businesses, particularly in construction, real estate, manufacturing, and distribution sectors.

• Review flow-through tax returns and liaise directly with client support teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience with a mid-sized public accounting firm, focusing on the preparation and review of flow-through income tax returns.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

• Skilled in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, client communication, and research.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Uphold integrity within a professional setting.

• Experience in team leadership is advantageous.

• Familiarity with CCH Axcess tax and CCH Pfx Engagement software.

• EA or CPA certification is highly preferred.
