• Responsible for tax planning and preparation for affluent individuals and their associated entities.
• Conducting initial reviews on specific individual and fiduciary tax returns.
• Ensuring adherence to all federal and state filing obligations on behalf of clients.
• Serving as a resource for business management teams regarding tax planning, tax research, and ongoing education about tax-related updates.
• Aiding Tax Managers in the continuous education of both permanent and seasonal tax preparation staff.
• Assisting in the communication of pertinent tax developments to clients via newsletters, social media, and other forms of communication.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with over 3 years of relevant experience.
• A clear emphasis on preparing tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships, and S-corporations, particularly for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong problem-solving, technological, communication, and organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and a proven ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail, proactive follow-through, and impressive time management and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willingness and availability to work extra hours as necessary during peak season.
