Senior Tax Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate tax assessments for PIS, COFINS, ISS, withholding income tax (IRRF), CSRF, INSS, standard ICMS, ICMS-ST, and ICMS-DIFAL.

• Examine ancillary tax obligations, such as EFD-Contribuições, EFD-ICMS/IPI, and REINF.

• Conduct tax parameterization and system configuration in SAP Business One, including modifications for the Tax Reform.

• Oversee tax integration and automation processes in SAP Business One and other systems.

• Manage, supervise, and direct compliance with federal, municipal, and state taxes, in addition to ensuring clients’ registration adherence.

• Oversee billing processes and render support to the internal tax team.

• Facilitate the onboarding of new clients.

• Provide assistance to clients and the internal team.

• Keep track of the tax status across states, municipalities, and the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, along with monitoring CNDs and digital certificate expirations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in reviewing and calculating taxes, including PIS, COFINS, ICMS, ISS, withholding income tax, and related tax withholdings.

• Familiarity with ancillary tax obligations, including SPED Fiscal, EFD-Contribuições, and REINF.

• Expertise in tax parameterization.

• In-depth knowledge of tax legislation and the Tax Reform.

• Background in tax compliance, CNDs, and digital certificates.

• Experience in billing, client implementations, and customer service.

• Results-driven mindset.

• Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level.

• Substantial experience in BPO, consulting, or an accounting firm is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP Business One is preferred.
