This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and review both federal and state income tax returns.
• Engage in tax planning and create projections.
• Conduct tax research, resolve issues, and manage correspondence.
• Oversee client information requests and deliverables.
• Ensure the accurate and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the processes.
• Provide assistance on special tax projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with staff, clients, and management.
• Support Firm initiatives as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in public accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Experience in supporting a large and active client base within the real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with federal and state tax regulations.
• Proficient computer skills with experience in a variety of applications; knowledge of Thomson Reuters software is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.
• Research-oriented with adept problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong organizational, analytical, and planning capabilities.
• A positive attitude and the capacity to work collaboratively with a team at various levels.
• Adaptable to change, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
